Just last month, a Diablo II: Resurrected Beta opened up the game to the public, giving a peek at what’s in store for brave adventurers before its worldwide release. Luckily for fans, the talented folks at Vicarious Visions (now part of Blizzard Entertainment) were up to the task, to the relief of many. Diablo II is such an icon in the industry that it puts so much pressure on the devs to make a faithful yet good remaster. 20h Played8~9 - Amazing artstyle but true to the old school feel of the game, a remake done right (could have been even more beautiful but maybe it would change the atmosphere to much) - Fun gameplay loop - Amazing lore and areas - Fun dungeons - good story and cinematics - replayability is good (but not as good as diablo 3) - coop play is so much fun - great atmhopshere - enemy variaty - cool armour sets cons - no couch coop tho - on console the ability aiming is non exitend - could have been way more fps or way higher resolution, bit of a letdown performance wise (no dips at all except for lag, but for a next gen console its runnning pretty mediocre) - Bosses feel way too cheap and unbalanced - weird difficulty peaks - Worst backspace ever and no preview of an item before looting - Can get quite repetitive (with one character) - a bit clunky - this remake should have been both 1 and 2, missed oportunity or just greed.Ever since it was announced earlier this year, fans have been waiting in anticipation for the return of what is arguably one of the games that defined the childhood of many.
